In September 2014 we'll be uprooting from our home base in New Jersey to head south, setting up shop in Greenville, South Carolina. Of course being that we're an online business this doesn't mean much in the grand scheme of things, the most important thing to know is that there will be about a week of down-time as we transition from here to the new location, we anticipate September 11th to 17th we will NOT BE ABLE TO SHIP ORDERS! The process will involve packing up the whole operation here, loading it onto trucks, transporting it down to the new location, reorganizing and setting up for business... this will be a strenuous job but we will work hard to minimize the down-time as much as possible. Of course as we return it may take us a few days before we are all caught up with the orders that have come in during the week so please bear with us, we WILL be taking orders while we are moving, and we will ship on a first-in first-out basis, and we anticipate being back to 100% on-schedule shipping by September 20th. If anything changes from this schedule, we'll let you know through here, email, Facebook, etc. So why the move? How will this affect our operations? Well it was a lot of reasons, at the root of which was our need for an expansion. The past few years have found us bursting at the seams space-wise, and it's no secret that NJ is one of the most expensive places in the country, so the move made sense: we could expand Other then the initial impact of the move itself, you will notice very little, if any, changes in delivery times or order processing. We ship fast as it is and usually use expedited services, about 94% of our US shipments arrive at their destination within 3 days. This will not change at the new location. Our customers in the Northeast who are used to 1 day deliver may see it increase to 2 days, our customers in the South may see the time decrease by a day, but overall the change will be minimal.
We're excited for the future, and plan to introduce a lot of new products once we settle into our new home in SC!
