Black 16-Gauge Round Cloth Covered 3-Wire Cord, Nylon - PER FOOT

 

This is a heavier gauge than the normal 18 gauge cord we sell. Use this 16 gauge nylon covered electrical wire when you have a power demand that exceeds 18 gauge cords. Typical uses might be for making light duty power strips, lighting with many bulbs, or higher wattage bulbs, or powering heavier draw appliances. We also sell some 14 gauge cord options if your electrical needs exceed this 16 gauge cord. This black electrical cable works great with our heavy duty 3-prong male and female plug/connectors to make extension cords, or for metal gang box hookups, bedside power strips with USB connectors and power outlets, etc. Note: This cord will not fit into 1/8ip lamp pipe, it will also not work with any of our strain relief pieces. 

 

This is BRAND NEW, antique style 3-wire, 16 gauge (known as 16/3) stranded copper electrical cord. The 3 wires allow you to use a ground wire, although certain situations may not require one, in which case it's fine to snip off the ground wire and leave it unused.
