Returns Policy

We are 100% committed to your satisfaction, and we accept returns within 30 days of delivery for a full refund or exchange. We'll also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.). Items must be unused. If your return falls outside that 30 day window, we may still be able to offer you an exchange or store credit, decided on a case by case basis. This policy applies to all standard stock items ordered through our webstore; special order items or custom crafted items (for example, parts special ordered for you or custom made-to-order items) may NOT be returned.

Please contact us first before returning your purchase so we can be expecting your package. We will process your return within 3 days of receiving your return. Please allow time for the package to be delivered to us, us to process the return, and the time it may take from that point for the money to be returned to your original method of payment. 

If you need to return an item, simply login to your account, view the order using the "Complete Orders" link under the My Account menu and click the Return Item(s) button. Or, email us directly at, let us know your name and/or order number and how you would like to handle the return/exchange and we'll make sure you're taken care of.

We'll notify you via e-mail of your refund once we've received and processed the returned item.


We strive to offer the most accommodating return policy in the lighting parts industry, but we can't do that without your help and understanding! There are costs associated with returns on our end, and also on your end (return postage), so we ask that you take a few steps if you are not 100% certain on your order:

  • Contact us before ordering if you need help! If you're unsure, we may be able to guide you and save the hassle of a return. Know that we do generally check orders for parts compatibility, and if there are any obvious errors we will contact you before shipping, but we can't catch everything!


  • Order a sample first! ESPECIALLY FOR BIG ORDERS! It's much easier to return 1 socket than 100 sockets, so if you're unsure of the fit or the color, or anything else, we ask that you order 1 first, or 1 foot of cord (yes, we accept 1 foot cord orders!), before ordering the full quantity you need. This helps us keep the costs of returns down, and also helps us not over-purchase inventory as we replenish our stock from a big order, only to have it returned and we're sitting on it for months. 


  • Thank you! With your help we can try to continue to avoid things like "restocking fees", and "no returns on cut cords", and "5 day return policy", we want to be flexible and understanding and keep returns and exchanges easy and affordable for both us and our customers!
