Strain Relief Piece, Threaded Cord Grip - Great For Cloth Covered Wire! 1/8 IPS Male Threads

These handy little threaded plastic cord grips are a great safety feature to add to your hanging pendants and other weight-bearing light fixtures. They thread into the base of any standard light socket (or use a nut to fasten them to anything, like a ceiling canopy mount) and when you screw on the cap, they tighten up onto your cord: holding the weight off of your wire connections inside your socket or ceiling canopy. No more struggling to tie knots or use cumbersome crimps inside your socket! 

• 1/8 IPS Male Threads (fits all of our sockets, or use a nut to fasten these to any canopy or fixture you want to hang cords from!)
• All of our cords are compatible with these!!! (except the 16 gauge overbraid cord which is too thick!)
• Installation note: thread the base onto the socket or fixture, spread the "grabbers" so they don't snag your cord while you push it through, slide the cap onto the cord, then insert the cord. Once you're done with your wiring on the inside, simply tightn down the cap and the grabbers will dig into your cord, holding the weight off of your wire connections.
