The bulb was packed well for shipping and the bulb itself is really cool. The only issue I have is that there are noticeable scratches on the exterior of the glass. I assume it’s at the fault of the manufacturer, but it’s unfortunate because the bulb is designed to be seen rather than covered by a shade and the light is soft enough to look at directly, so it does detract from the aesthetic a bit.
